Here's How We END Mueller's Folly...

Whatever Mueller may have done in the past, now that we know there is no evidence of any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government - which would not have been a crime if it had existed - there is no reason for a special counsel to continue and the remaining investigations should be turned back to the Justice Department. Why are you so opposed to the FBI and Justice Department taking over the investigations?

The "no evidence" and "no collusion" schtick?

PLEASE abandon it - You, I and everyone else knows little to N-O-T-H-I-N-G
We all know there is no evidence of collusion and you just want this "investigation" to continue to generate headlines for false accusations of collusion.

you don't KNOW jack shit.
We both know it's true and any rational person who reads your post knows that you are only interested in keeping the investigation going under a special counsel because it generates bigger headlines than one handled by a Justice Department prosecutor.

you know no such thing because Devon nunes has his head up Donald's butt and should probably go to jail.

and you have no idea what mueller has.

hint: if they aren't guilty, why are they all acting guilty?
If after more than two years of investigations, first by Comey and McCabe and then by Mueller after Comey was fired, they cannot produce a single piece of evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government then we must either conclude that there is no evidence or that Mueller is incompetent and send him home. I understand that you have no interest in the facts and only want the Mueller investigation to continue because it generates headlines suggesting there may be something to the false allegations of collusion.

mueller will not bring forth any evidence until he's ready for arrests.

Sessions recused himself over his role in the Trump campaign, right? He hadn't done a single thing to warrant it but took the advice of "career lawyers" at the DOJ. Now we know what kind of lawyers those were/are. So what's the solution? He UNrecuses himself and fires the horse-faced turd. And what is his unrecusal based on you ask?....the fact that Rosenstein hasn't recused himself and obviously has a YUUUGE conflict of interest because he signed the order to fire Comey! He's not entitled to hire a special counsel to investigate something he did. Sessions can unrecuse himself as long as there is a change in circumstances....the campaign is long over and Rosenstein should have bowed out, not brought in Mueller who also should have declined because of his run-ins with Trump in the past. President Trump has a country to run and this ridiculous and clearly illegal distraction needs to end NOW.

because that's how it works. flynn flipped. papadopolous flipped. nader flipped. all the juicy little tidbits they are coughing up need to be followed up & corroborated with documents, & subsequent interviews with other players in this nightmare. there are many avenues to be examined & exhausted before it's all said & done i know it's comfy to wrap yourself up in a nice warm blanket of denial, but that only means you are gonna be smacked even harder with cold reality when the truth finally comes out.

because prosecutors don't want people to know their evidence because they don't want people molding their testimony to fit the evidence gathered. THAT is how criminal prosecutions work.

prior to trial they have to turn over anything exculpatory. but they aren't going to show their hand.

If by "flipped" you mean gave evidence against Trump or the Trump campaign, there is no evidence any of these men "flipped". I take you cannot think of any reason why Mueller would withhold evidence if he had it, so you had to make up this asinine story.

lol Nonsense. First off, collusion is not a crime so there is no criminal prosecution of collusion, which raises the question, is the investigation legitimate in the first place. Secondly, when Nixon and Clinton were being investigated by special counsels we were advised on the progress of the investigations every step of the way, so if Mueller is withholding evidence from the American people, it is for no legitimate reason: either he has no evidence to withhold or he is withholding it for political purposes.

Why does Trump want to end the investigation?

What is trump afraid of them finding out?

Because it's continued fodder for the irrational haters. Let's put it this way. Even if you are completely innocent, having a prosecutor with nearly unlimited power and resources deliberately trying to construct a case against you is a nightmare.

'deliberately trying to construct a case against you is a nightmare.'

fake news. you are being groomed to believe that.

Just working with the material at hand. An awful lot of haters seem to think Mueller's job is to put Trump in jail, and will be nearly suicidal if he doesn't come up with anything.

it's only a matter of how deep is trump's involvement. how suicidal will you & your ilk be IF he's found to be involved?

Not at all. If he's broken the law, he should be tried and deal with the consequences. No politician is above the law.

are you saying that george nader was not granted immunity from mueller in exchange for his gut spilling about events that took place in the seychelles islands with the UAE & eric prince to possiblt set up a back channel correspondence with the trump campaign, in a meeting that he also attended? are you suuuuuuuuuureeeeeeeeeeeee about that?

None of the pleas or indictments had anything to do with allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, which was the only reason a special counsel was appointed and after more than two years of investigations into allegations of collusion have not produced a single piece of evidence of collusion, it is time for the special counsel to resign and turn the remaining investigations back to the Justice Department and FBI.

If your claim that Mueller is withholding evidence for political purposes is true, he should be fired and indicted for malfeasance.

May 17, 2017 - WASHINGTON — The Justice Department appointed Robert S. Mueller III, a former F.B.I. director, as special counsel on Wednesday to oversee the investigation into ties between President Trump's campaign and Russian officials,

Mueller has been at it only 10 months. It may just seem a lot longer because of all the indictments and convictions.
Mueller took over the investigation that had been run by Comey and McCabe after Comey was fired, so the investigation is over two years old and after more than two years not a simgle piece of evidence has been found

You keep saying that as if you keep repeating it makes it true.

None of us know what Mueller has found.

But we will once his investigation is complete.

Hopefully there will be no evidence of knowing collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

but that just means you want it to end for political reasons.... and could care less about getting to the truth....? Mueller is not ''going after Trump'' as many on the left and right claim.... he is going after the facts and truth...

Mueller and team has not leaked a thing....what the press has delivered to us are news they've gathered through their own investigations and through those testifying before the Mueller investigators that have chosen to tell the press about their own questioning.

When Mueller finishes his Russia investigation and comes out and says there ''was no collusion'' between Trump and the Russians....are you actually going to continue to complain about and continue to disparage Robert Mueller?
Not at all, I want to see the Mueller investigation turned back to the Justice Department where it belongs in order to redress an injustice.

Mueller's investigation is part of the Justice Department- with Robert Mueller where it belongs.

What 'injustice'?

You keep saying that.

You sure do want to keep Mueller from finishing his investigation.

What are you so convinced he will find?
We both know he will find nothing that will relate to the sole purpose of the appointment of a special counsel, false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and we both know you only want the investigation to continue for political reasons, so stop asking dumb questions.

And by 'we both know' you mean that you presume you know.

I want the investigation to continue because I honestly want Mueller to conclude his investigation and I hope that his final report will conclude that there was no illegal activity between Russia and the Trump campaign- IF Mueller finishes his investigation and issues that report- I will accept it- as will most Americans.

If Trump fires Mueller- that cloud will forever hang over his Presidency.
I know it doesn't come naturally to you, but try to be honest and admit the only reason you want the Mueller investigation to continue rather than to turn it back to the Justice Department is because the fact of the investigation of collusion by a special counsel give some credence to false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and if it were handled by prosecutor in the Justice Department it would not draw so many headlines.

Mueller is a prosecutor in the employ of the Justice Department.

I know it doesn't come naturally to you, but try to be honest and admit that the only reason you want the Mueller investigation to stop is because you are actually convinced that Mueller is going to find evidence of illegal and immoral activity by the Trump campaign.
Mueller is not a prosecutor in the employ of the Justice Department; he is a special counsel and as such he is not held to the same standars of accountability as a Justice Department prosecutor.

The Justice Department pays his bills- because the Justice Department hired him as Special Counsel.

Clearly what you object to is his independence from political pressure that President Trump has tried to apply.

That is the entire reason why the Special Counsel is set up the way it is- so that the President cannot easily pressure the Justice Department to stop an investigation.

The only reason you are so afraid of the investigation being turned over to the Justice Department is that it will not produce as many headlines without Mueller promoting rumors of collusion for which he has no evidence.

Remember- you started this thread arguing that the investigation should just end. You have now switched to 'turning it over to the Justice Department' because you got tired of having to defend the indefensible position of not wanting the truth to come out.

Mueller is not promoting any rumors of collusion- he is doing his job.

Which is why the Trumpsters are so pissed off at Mueller.

Why do you imagine that to be true?

because that's how it works. flynn flipped. papadopolous flipped. nader flipped. all the juicy little tidbits they are coughing up need to be followed up & corroborated with documents, & subsequent interviews with other players in this nightmare. there are many avenues to be examined & exhausted before it's all said & done i know it's comfy to wrap yourself up in a nice warm blanket of denial, but that only means you are gonna be smacked even harder with cold reality when the truth finally comes out.

We all know there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government and we all know that since collusion would not be a crime in itself, it is an abuse of power for Mueller to be spending taxpayer money investigating something that is not a crime. We all know the whole purpose of the investigation is political and the only difference between us is that you approve of corruption in government if it will benefit Democrats and I don't.

it is an abuse of power for Mueller to be spending taxpayer money investigating something that is not a crime.

As a special counsel, Mr. Mueller can choose whether to consult with or inform the Justice Department about his investigation. He is authorized to investigate “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,” according to Mr. Rosenstein’s order naming him to the post, as well as other matters that “may arise directly from the investigation.” He is empowered to press criminal charges, and he can request additional resources subject to the review of an assistant attorney general.

What has the Special Counsel achieved so far?

The full list of known indictments and plea deals in Mueller’s probe
1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, pleaded guilty in October to making false statements to the FBI.

2) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December to making false statements to the FBI.

3) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted in October in Washington, DC on charges of conspiracy, money laundering, false statements, and failure to disclose foreign assets — all related to his work for Ukrainian politicians before he joined the Trump campaign. He’s pleaded not guilty on all counts. Then, in February, Mueller filed a new case against him in Virginia, with tax, financial, and bank fraud charges.

4) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But he has now agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies were indicted on conspiracy charges, with some also being accused of identity theft. The charges related to a Russian propaganda effort designed to interfere with the 2016 campaign. The companies involved are the Internet Research Agency, often described as a “Russian troll farm,” and two other companies that helped finance it. The Russian nationals indicted include 12 of the agency’s employees and its alleged financier, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller.

22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine.

But you want to stop Mueller's investigation before it is complete.

What are you so scared he will find?
