I saw it a couple of times and TCM showed it again yesterday. It's a bit of self serving fluff with some classic performences by vintage stars. Dane Clark (who never served) plays a wounded Soldier and at one point gives a tearful bit about how gosh darn wonderful and real the Hollywood "stars" are. Twenty years later they would be spitting on Vietnam Vets. Anyway Jack Benny hams it up with a world class violinist and the Andrews Sisters (Patty Maxine and Laverne) are outstanding.
