This dark vision of the future draws on deeply pessimistic theorizing, on lectures about Marxist anti-government ideology seemingly ripped from the Cold War, on memories of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, and on claims that Democrats and the left will be unable to accept a Trump victory. The costs are real and factor in whatever taxes the undocumented migrants pay. They are not 'immigrants'. Immigrants apply for entry via legal means and not by phony 'asylum' demands.

With Trump's 'remain in Mexico until asylum cases could be adjudicated' most knew they were not eligible for asylum so most went home. Those eligible for asylum should seek it in the first country they come to.

Which leaves us with answering the question of why millions of migrants who came here illegally including those from Africa and Asia that include tens of thousands of single military age men from China alone should be allowed to cut into line ahead of the many who wait for their LEGAL visa or asylum requests to be processed.

And the bleeding heart progressives--that includes most of higher education these days--never want to answer the question of why LEGAL immigrants could not do all those jobs the illegals are doing. The illegals obviously aren't helping to bring down the costs of food, construction, other labor because the billions of dollars being rerouted from citizens to take care of the illegals is exacerbating inflation. The significant resources the migrants are requiring are overloading many services providing them and making citizens wait an unnecessarily long time or going without.

A large number of those working illegally are paid in cash, i.e. under the table so they don't even pay income or other payroll taxes and their employers aren't on the hook for extra costs of FICA, SUTA, FUTA, higher work comp and liability insurance for those people. And all who 'appear' to be working legally are doing so with phony social security numbers, some of which put the people those numbers were assigned to at high risk of identity theft, destroyed credit, association with criminal activity etc.

And that doesn't even factor in the criminal element--child and sex traffickers, sex offenders, the thieves, violent and deadly--that are allowed in because most of the migrants are not being vetted. The CBP can catch some repeat offenders but they are not allowed to detain any newcomers long enough to know who they are.

There should be a strong federal law and also state laws that any employer who knowingly hires an illegal is subject to heavy fine. The Trump policies that allowed in a very few who were actually deserving but turned most of the opportunists/bad actors away should be reinstated.

I saw on the news last night that the Biden Administration is resuming the migrant flights into the USA that bypass the CBP and ICE altogether. That is dangerous. That is wrong. No American should condone it.

Yeah I suspect it is with mixed emotions that we know President Trump is not a vindictive person and likely will not utilize ANY of the tactics the Democrats have used against all political opposition. Those tactics include weaponizing government against all citizens identified with any kind of voice that started with the Obama Administration and the Biden Administration double downing on persecuting/prosecuting political opponents.
