Regeneration is mentioned in John 3:3 where the Lord Jesus said to
a Jewish leader, "You must be born again."

Regeneration changes your nature. You were dead in sin and your
fallen human nature was dead -- but regeneration is the supernatural
work of the Holy Spirit where he makes you ALIVE and changes your
nature so that NOW you CAN understand spiritual truths -- whereas
before you were regenerated, spiritual truths were thought to be mere
foolishness to you.

There's great danger for humanity if we sit back and wait for some lord to change something on earth for the better. This notion has already been raised in another discussion!

Let's not start advocating that we ignore that which needs mending, while we wait for action taken from on high.

We've already waited for over 2000 years and our situation only gets worse!

The Plan of the Sovereign God spans not the mere centuries,
but it spreads out over the millenniums. The human race is now
in its infancy and it has many many thousands of years to go before
it reaches spiritual maturity. There are no secular solutions to spiritual
problems. There is no political party that can save America or the world.
The world and America can be saved ONLY by the Holy Spirit blessed
message as outlined in the OP. Patience is required.

I don't have the patience needed to sit back and expect the god to do something to save the world from nuclear war. You're not entitled to do that yourself for logical reasons.

For example: If your child's leg is amputated in a chain saw accident, you're not permitted to take a JW's course of action and watch the child bleed to death. (or refuse a blood transfusion)

The god might choose to let the kid die as you sit around praying!
