There are babies freezing to death in Russian orphanages that we can't adopt. I'm for anything that gets unwanted children into the hands of loving parents.
We can have their necks slit during birth if we don't like their hair color. Makes trading one for an iPhone a win win to me. This world has lost it's mind.

Actually, the OP is an observation of what homo Sapiens has become. Oh, we tout our nobility, try so hard to force everyone to do the right thing. But we have lost our way and lost our values, or rather, we have replaced truly humane values. Now, too many people place no more value on a human life, on their children's' lives, than the price of some high-tech toys. Do you seriously think this is a good thing?

Once sex is again promoted as something only married people should do (including on TV shows, in the movies and "idol" magazines) and deglamorize the notion of fornication ----- then the numbers will return to more controllable levels....

The DNC platform supports all abortion and does not contain any language opposing partial-birth abortion, nor does it distinguish that practice from first-trimester abortion. Actually it's been found to hard and never really tried. I didn't say its something that will change over night. But long term we have to change the hearts and minds of people, not just pass laws.
