The amazing thing is how tiny the patch of sky was that encompasses that image. The Hubble is the most amazing machine humans have ever created IMO. It's the equivalent of if the Europeans of the past had built a telescope that let them see that, yes, there is a new world. Go to it :thup:

Looking at that one little square...knowing there are millions of little squares around it....just boggles the mind. How tiny we really are in the grand scheme of things.
