She's not going to jail for her beliefs. She can believe anything she wants. She is going to jail because as a government employee, she refused to do her job, and when a judge ordered her to do her job, she refused the court order. Her beliefs are hers; working for the state, in a country with separation of church and state, and not doing your job is not legal. It has nothing to do with her religious beliefs as long as she keeps them separate from her government job--separation of church and state. That's one of the foundations of our country.
