In this case, they are choosing to simply ignore it, knowing that Hunter and his dad will be handled with kid gloves and have it all swept under the rug.

In all likelihood had Hunter's name not been Biden he would not have been charged with anything. That's what the record says for people who file their taxes late and lie on a gun application form. That said, I think it's a good thing he didn't get off scot free.
