Not just you , but yes indeed. And not just donut shops. Any restaurant that chinses on the oil, their deep fried food gets an off taste. KK here has their game on, though.Is it just me, or do other people notice when donut shops don't change their cooking oil and the donuts get a different taste? Krispy Kream seems to be the worst around here. The donuts are great otherwise.

Several years back I lived and worked in Boston, Ma. and the surrounding area. I swear there was a Dunkin Donuts on nearly every corner and inside a lot of the stores. ...150 stores? That’s what, 1 Massachusetts county worth of stores? Not thst big of a deal.
