It means there is no surgery scheduled and she is supposed to see a specialist next week. ICE officials will get her any care needed. Doctors released her from hospital and they wouldn't do that if she was in immediate danger.

Emergency surgeries are done as needed.

The words used in article and headline are from her lawyers, not doctors. They are trying to make Trump look mean for upholding immigration laws.

I believe she is seeing a specialist next week because ICE fucked up. The detention center transferred her to the hospital after she complained of headaches, nosebleeds and memory loss. The hospital diagnosed a brain tumor and put her on waiting list for surgery this weekend so they must have been pretty sure of their diagnosis. Then ICE shows up for some unknown reason to put her back in detention. Now ICE says she will see a specialist next week to determine treatment. Well, the hospital that the detention center transferred her to has already diagnosis her and determine treatment, surgery. Don't tell me ICE is looking for a second opinion. They simply screwed up and are trying to recover.

After being moved, she was not being given any treatment even though her nose continues to bleed and she has told them her head is exploding. This is unacceptable under our Constitution, and unacceptable from a standpoint of basic human rights,” Chris Hamilton said. This woman is critically ill and in severe pain.
