IDF medics instructed not to resuscitate wounded Palestinians and to "shoot to kill" unarmed Palestinians.

The "no resuscitation" practice is 'new' only in the sense that the instructions are given directly and officially, thus turning it into a formal IDF policy. The practice has been in place for decades, if one only cared to inquire about it 'in the field,' even if it wasn't uniformly applied.

בהמשך השבוע השתתף החובש בריענון הוראות פתיחה באש, שם ניתן לדבריו היתר לירות למוות באנשים שאינם מהווים איום על איש. "אמרו לנו שההנחיה לגבי מפגע שדקר, זרק את הסכין והתחיל לברוח היא להרוג אותו. המ״פ אמר 'שלא יגיע לראות שופט'".

מישהו מחה או העביר ביקורת על ההוראה הזאת?

"הפלוגה ככלל הייתה מאוד ממורמרת לגבי ההוראות פתיחה באש. המ״פ כמעט התנצל כל פעם שהוא אמר שאסור לירות, אז כשהוא אמר לירות במפגע לא חמוש, רוב הפלוגה הייתה בסדר עם זה".

כזכור, רק לפני כשבועיים נתן שר הפנים, יצחק אהרונוביץ', הוראה דומה לשוטרים בישראל בעקבות פיגוע הדריסה בשייח' ג'ראח. רק יומיים אחרי אותה הוראה ירו שוטרים למוות בח'יר חמדאן בכפר כנא. ארגון "יש דין" פנה ליועמ"ש בדרישה לגנות את קריאתו הבלתי חוקית של אהרונוביץ', ש"דגל שחרור מתנוסס מעליה".

It was only two weeks ago that Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich made a public statement to a similar effect in the wake of the vehicular attack in Sheikh Jarrah. Two days later police shot Kheir Hamdan to death in Kafr Kanna.

The IDF Spokesperson has yet to respond

Israel is getting this Nazis thing off to a tee.

Wow, talk about mixing things up.

Kheir Hamdan was an Israeli civilian who tried to attack cops with a knife.He was shot because he forsaked the uniformes. Starting the fact that it was completely domestic issue which has nothing to do with the Israeli Palestinian conflict, and I'm not surprised the liars from 972 magazine push the political nonsense there.

And if you bring the Hebrew version, kindly enough, then I should point out the contradition which doesn't make any sense. So, take this sentence--->

Translation: During the week, the medic refreshed the firing rules, when he said it's allowed to shoot to death people who hold no threat to anyone

Next sentence:

"אמרו לנו שההנחיה לגבי מפגע שדקר, זרק את הסכין והתחיל לברוח היא להרוג אותו"

Translation: "They told us that a damager who stabbed, threw the knife away and began fleeing, should be shot, by regulations."

See, I'm not grammar teacher, but this just doesn't add up in my mind. How come a person that already stabbed another, holds "no threat" to anyone? that makes absolutely no sense. If he stabbed someone, he is considered a criminal and a threat to his surroundings, no matter if he threw the knife away or not. How can you be sure he's no threat even if the knife is away?

Another thing that doesn't add up, usually medics don't refresh the firing rules, it's not their job at all. and it sounds stupid, and I've never seen it actually taking place.

Well to rehash the arguments put forward by the Zionuts here, "it's the parent's fault for putting her in danger, damned evil settlers, using babies as human shields!" You can't slaughter Palestinian babies and children and then complain because they kill yours.

Although the

was less ambiguous.


"So Sir, we don't have to help him breathe. But now that he is disarmed and at our mercy, we can shoot him, yes?"

"And you wont report us if we shoot him?"
"No lad. You will be commended. But you can help him to breathe if you want - no pressure. Only, when you are done, you can shoot him then too. Or your mates can."
