Getting forced upon the reservation so to speak and then get called a hypocrite for having to become a beneficiary and for that we're called hypocrites.
Yeah.. because we have all kinds of room for military bases in high income and tax cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.... and the federal interstate miles in Kansas are less than what they are in Connecticut....
Yes, there are problems in the pet projects many representatives get for their states... but don't just paint this as a blanket picture
Unless, that is, you wish to use the same argument for individuals who pay no income taxes that are gaining benefit from entitlements
Oh yes, go for it Dave!!!! What is this? EXXON MOBILE pays NO TAXES in 2009. Really? That about covers your arguments in bullshit, huh Dave?
Exxon Mobil paid no federal income tax in 2009 Climate Progress
I recall reading a book by Howard Jarvis in the 70's that talked about this, how there were hundreds of hidden taxes on a simple loaf of brad, how insurance costs GM more each year than the materials that cars were built from and so much more, that's the fault of government, not capitalism.

I agree with that, yet capitalism is a myth, because it cannot survive without government intervention.
I don't know about that, black markets flourish without regulations and intervention.....

Aside from your bullshit, fudge-face, how is that different than National Health Care?? Hmm? And you don't have to pay into social security or medicare, you have the choice to avoid the American government, and starve.
I sell Medicare Supplements, actually "most" have to pay into Medicare Part A, I say "most" since there are exceptions such as the Railroad, government employees, etc.
Medicare Part "B" is an option as is "C", now "D" is but you will get charged a penalty if you don't join when your eligible if you ever do join.
It's complicated to try and explain on a forum.
Socialism only ends up with massive death and economic ruin. You honestly think it's not a bad thing?
Nice to see you ignoring the facts that directly oppose you and your winger site assertions....
Care to retract your false claim of XOM paying no income taxes in 2009 yet?
Take a look at the red states. You will find that most of them are federal welfare states, receiving more back from the fed than they pay in.
Take away the federal tit they are sucking and they would likely collapse.
Take away the federal tit from those liberal states running BILLIONS in deficits and see what happens to them.
Which states would those be?
c'mon winger shit-tao... Wanna dig deeper?
Right from the forbes article that your winger site tried to cherry pick from....
what the top u.s. Companies pay in taxes - forbes.com
"mind you, not all global megacorps enjoy such low tax rates. Try to muster some pity for big oil. Exxonmobil ( xom - news - people ) in its 2009 annual report to the sec, recorded a larger income tax expense than any other u.s. Company last year, some $17.6 billion, or 47% of pretax earnings." that shows for 2008... And since the article was written before exxon's returns for 2009 were completed... "though exxon's financial statement's don't show any net income tax liability owed to uncle sam, a company spokesman insists that once its final tax bill is figured, exxon will owe a "substantial 2009 tax liability.""... And as shown, they ended up paying 15.1bil in income taxes for 2009.. As per the financial statements that i linked to you
epic fail, you idiot asshole troll...
c'mon back shitty... It's enjoyable bitch slapping your winger bullshit
I'm tired of making you look like a fool with no credibility jr., so run along and play with yourself.................

My mistake was in thinking that these figures somehow reflected actual tax benefits and liabilities. So what we should have written was that ExxonMobil recorded no U.S. income taxes for 2009 instead of paid. All you re-bloggers out there, please note the clarification. Mea culpa.
And for all you commenters outraged that Exxon isnt paying taxes in the U.S., dont worry, it is. Our article only focused on income taxes, but its worth noting that the 10-k also records $7.7 billion in other taxes in the U.S. (like sales taxes) and more than $50 billion of other taxes and duties paid (I mean recorded) overseas.
The part about individual rights?Do you understand what socialism is?
What tenets of socialism go against the Constitution?
As in NOT those of the Collective Government?
One more person to add to the list of American's who don't know what socialism is.
Socialism is NOT a form of government - its an economic system. There is nothing about socialism that precludes "individual rights".

No wait, wasnt Jesus a socialist?

I agree with your first point but it can violate rights, like the right of an individual to own a business or property, if the means of production are truly owned by the State like true socialism advocates.
