Well if one really thought about it, and used the current group of contemporary conservatives as our model, we would still be riding horses, slavery would be legal in a number of Southern States and anarchy, vigilantism and class warfare would be on going.

Well, we are not riding horses, but the rest of what you mention is quite typical of the South -- and most of the rest of the nation, as well. · ·
