I am torn on that question. he is a convicted felon (34), but he is not a convict....yet. I expect if that appears inevitable, his Russian pal, Vlad will send a chartered plan to pick him up and fly him to his safe have in Moscow. trump is a cancer on democracy. He never loses, according to him. If Harris beat him, he will claim victory and say he was cheated....again. And the majority of MAGA will agree with the Liar.

Until all legal avenues and appeals are completed, even the word convict is not appropriate to use.

People in Oz had/have a strange perspective on Convicts. We understand that Convicts were in fact mostly barely crims at all and many were in fact political prisoners (esp Irish). One poem sums up our attitude as it was though barely thought about today I suppose.
