You know who is still on the UN human rights counsel - SYRIA!!! Now the select Iran, a country under international sanctions, a country that is a state sponsor of terrorism, a country that openly FUNDS terrorist groups, a country that is a theocracy, a country that openly persecutes Christians and Gays and a country that openly threatens to wipe off another UN country off the map (which is against the UN charter), yet this useless organization puts them in charge of disarmament!

Israel's U.N. Ambassador Ron Prosor said in a letter to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon circulated Tuesday that "it is inconceivable" that a country under U.N. sanctions over its suspect nuclear program would be allowed to hold the position of rapporteur. The rapporteur reports on the committee's proceedings.

"Permitting Iran to serve on the U.N.'s leading disarmament committee is like appointing a drug lord CEO of a pharmaceutical company," Prosor wrote.
