imho, we should definitely not turn the other cheek for the Iranians to hit us there as well. anything they can even slightly reasonably call a victory, fuels their next generations.

yeah, and i agreed fully with that approach to dealing with Iran, until recently (since about a week after the Oct 7th 2023 Hamas attack to be exact).
