IRS Commissioner: Trump is Lying

He merely quoted the IRS rules there was no attitude that I could discern.

Trump never claimed it was illegal for him to post his tax returns, numskull.
The IRS Commissioner merely made it understood that someone under audit was completely free to do with them whatever they wanted.

Everyone who isn't a congenital dumbass like you already knew that.
Right so he has no excuse for leveling with the American people. I think people are going to walk away from him for this.

This about your claimed that he lied. Obviously, you're the one whose lying
12 years of returns indicates a serious problem, let's see them so we can decide who the liar in chief is.

Trump's taxes are no business of mine. I would have preferred Trump put it that way without excuses but I understand how politically incorrect such a stance would have been.

I would agree with the "no business of mine" quip about Trump's tax returns....but that is UNTIL the guy wishes to be trusted by voters that he should be president based on his AMAZING "business savvy."

If one is so damn great at business, one's tax retunrs would go a long way toward supporting that stance.

"Donald Trump has come out and said that the only reason heā€™s being audited every single year by the IRS is because Barack Obama is president and the fact that heā€™s a ā€œgood Christian.ā€ He also stated that he canā€™t release his tax returns because heā€™s being audited.

Well, not so, according to IRS Chief John Koskinen. He says thatā€™s factually not true. The real reason heā€™s being audited is because his taxes are highly suspicious.

Here was what he said in an interview on C-SPAN:

ā€œThe taxpayer controls his returns. Thereā€™s nothing in an IRS audit process generally that would keep you from sharing that information generally, any way you wanted to.

It would be rare for someone to be audited every year, and that someone would not undergo another audit for a few years, two or three at least

He also dispelled the rumors that the IRS was going after him because of his faith. ā€œWe donā€™t care who you are. Whether you go to church, or donā€™t go to church.ā€ Koskinen explained audits occur when something pops up in your tax returns they find suspicious. Itā€™s basically all about the numbers. Party or religious affiliation is not part of any IRS audit red flag.

Since Trump is, in fact, being audited, it means that there must be something in there that the IRS has to check continually. But, the public doesnā€™t yet know what it is, because heā€™s refusing to share them.

Trump is the only major nominee for president in the last 40 years to not release his taxes."

The guy does not comment directly on Trump's returns and does not say that the real reason heā€™s being audited is because his taxes are "highly suspicious.". You, in short, are lying through your teeth.
Then let's see the returns and let the American people decide.
Cite the law that says he has to.

Less we forget, Obama has used the IRS in the past as a tool against his enemies.

Moron.....if THAT were indeed the case, Obama could have told the IRS to stop the audit and then watch trump flip-flop on his "I'll release them after the audit".....

This is the same IRS Commissioner who was caught perjuring himself, who lied about targeting Americans, who protected Barry's scheme to go after American citizens he called his 'enemies'...

Sorry, no credibility. Next...

Koskinen's an Obama lackey. An audit of a political enemy is hardly news.

One's tax return belongs to the taxpayer. The IRS is provided a copy. The taxpayer can do what he likes with his copy and the IRS can do what it deems necessary with its copy.

Trump is a pathological liar and it's fitting that he's running under the Republican flag, if only because no Republican has sufficient support from Republicans. That's how broken and dysfunctional they are.

And they nevertheless think they still have a chance of winning the presidency.

Incredible

Trump is a pathological liar and it's fitting that he's running under the Republican flag,

That would pretty much make EVERY politician since Lincoln a Republican, wouldn't it?

Well we don't want audits of political enemies and Donald Trump will have a long road to slog proving that. The easiest way is produce the taxes and the people will decide if an audit was justified.

Well good for you but you know that position of yours would NOT be the position of the Republicans if Trump released his taxes and the Clintons refused to release theirs...the Clintons would have been accused of every crime and nefarious action under the Sun by the right wing!!!

And lest not forget how a few years ago trump wanted Obama to release all kinds of personal info that he now refuses to do .
