Back in '96, I signed onto a small political message board. There were probably only about 15 members.
14 staunch Conservatives and little old left-wing me. After a while, Fred, the board owner made me a mod in the hopes that I would get other lefties to sign up.
Two weeks later, One of the favorite posters passed away and Fred shut the whole thing down. I moved on.
I was well liked there. I guess they were tired of agreeing with each other all of the time.
