Back in 1968, Mel Brooks directed "The Producers", a movie about two Broadway producers who try to produce the worst play in history in order to create a flop and make a lot of money. They do so by getting the worst play they can find ("Springtime for Hitler") and hire the worst actor and worst director.
The play ends up becoming a smash hit because it is inadvertently hilarious.
I am wondering if the Trump campaign with its racist candidate and the wife-beating campaign manager and crazy supporters are doing the same thing.
