They posted the footage on social media.Muslim women and children also took part in this attack against the elderly Christian, as persecution of Christians has become an accepted social norm in Pakistan.

Under Sharia blasphemy law in Pakistan, Christians and Hindus are walking on eggshells trying to avoid blasphemy charges. The Muslim mob never bothers to "fact check" and examine the false blasphemy rumors as they take the law into their own hands and execute anyone accused of blasphemy. The Muslim mob usually persecute the rest of the victim family and his community while burning holy places and looting property.

The UN, the EU, human rights organizations and activists in the West are silent about the persecution of Christians in the Arab-Muslim world as they try to prevent damage to the image of Islam as a "religion of peace".
