The education ministry didn't "stop teaching the Declaration at schools", but just pointed out, that the book "We Are All Born Free - The Declaration of Human Rights in Pictures" is inappropriate for kindergarten children.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is often called a milestone in the history; but, it is not Human Rights Law (IHRL). "There are 9 Core International Human Rights Instruments; that make-up binding law. Each of these instruments has established a committee of experts to monitor implementation of the treaty provisions by its States parties." The UDHR (while famous) is not law and is not implemented anything like a binding agreement.

We should be very careful that we do not think badly of someone that violates a Non-Law. Our friend "fanger" is playing fast and loose with the truth when implying that Israel violates 15 Articles of IHRL. They are not law. And please don't confuse IHRL with IHL; two different criteria stock.
