Does it occur to you that Hamas will be the last ones to starve? They will keep all food and water to themselves. While you are waiting them out, thousands of others will be starving, starved and dead.

War is war, you cannot hope for a clear war without collateral damage.

Israel has offered the non-combatant Palestinians a way out. If they won't, or can't, escape and are killed or starved it's on them or HAMAS, not Israel.

I don't like the "Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out" approach. My plan will hold the Iranians and others at bay and prevent a wider conflict. It actually gives Iran a way out. This will be a test of how smart the Israelis are.

The Palestinians for the past 80 years have voted for leadership that wants to erase Jews from Israel.
The Palestinians voted for a terrorist organization into power - knowing damn well they are willing and able to use them as shields to kill more Jews.
Whatever happens to them now is on their heads. If they didn't want this to happen - then they shouldn't have voted HAMAS into power over them.

Egypt will open its border with Gaza effectively taking them out of the fight. Syria will stay home.

Israel could also clear HAMAS out of the southern region of Gaza first providing a safe zone for the Palestinians without needing Egyptian territory for them.

Hamas leadership is not in Gaza. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the Hamas foot soldiers have used the tunnel system to escape from Gaza already.

Regardless, for the past 50 plus years Palestinians have voted for a litany of leaders that refused to recognize Jewish control of their own country.

Couldnt Israel set up food lines? Anyone who wants food has to be fingerprinted, indentified and their picture taken. If a Hamas member wants food, he better hope he is unknown to Israel. Hamas leadership would never survive the "food line".
