It's not hate, it's heritage.

Saw a kid I know last night with a belt buckle that was a rebel flag captioned thus, "it's not hate, its heritage". So I asked, what's the heratage. The answer? Well it went like this, "derrrrrrrrp". That's almost an exact quote. So I'll ask the USMB'ers, the rebel flag, is it heratage or hate and why is it either?

A heritage of Jim Crow and civil rights resistance.

The only way it can be your heritage is if you are still living the same as the forebearers were..

And by that do you mean sitting on the porch sipping sweet tea and whooping a darky for not picking cotton fast enough? Or what? Is it safe to say you are on the hate side? Not being a sick, just asking.
