The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Mr Trump flat-out refused to return boxes of documents, including some that apparently were marked classified, when approached by his former deputy White House counsel, Patrick Philbin.

And he wasn’t alone – multiple other aides to the president reportedly told him the same thing. But Mr Trump resisted, telling them “it’s not theirs, it’s mine” on several occaisions, referring to the stash of documents.

The new reporting could help the Justice Department prove its case if charges are brought against him for the retention of classified materials, as it demonstrates that Mr Trump could or should have known that what he was doing was criminal in nature.

They returned the Passports. If there is anything else which does not belong to NARA, it will be returned.

A lawful search warrant is not a Communist raid, especially when Trump and his lawyer lied to the FBI saying that they had nothing else.

1) ok...and that the server was illegal...and she was grossly reckless.
2) ok...they turned 15 boxes over then, and were working with the NARA, even allowed them to come down and review everything. Obviously they believed they had turned everything they wanted over
3) yeah, maybe they did....maybe the Trump lawyers missed some stuff...apparently Clinton and her alwyes did too....the only difference is they were not declassified, as she had no authority to do that like Trump....moreover, it appears they also found and had to return a ton of otehr stuff...so it looks like they were going after a lot more...especially in light of the fact Trump and his team were actively working with them prior to the Stalinist raid
