Welfare and Medicaid need to be the first programs cut when Medicare goes bankrupt in 2026 and SS becomes insolvent in 2037. Medicare and SS were earned, Medicaid and Welfare are charities. IMHO we need a "Grace Commission II", to fix the Federal government's spending problem, and eliminate duplication and waste, fraud, and abuse. Which party will commit to putting the Federal Budget on a strict diet and save entitlements?
