There is this weekly trickle of stories about one or more of those MAGA jackasses who attacked our legislators and beat the crap out of uniformed officers. Clearly, the hunt goes on ---by the FBI and the DOJ, of course, But also by the "online sleuths' who have made ID'g and tracking down those criminals sort of a Where's Waldo game.
And you know, such online 'communities' of shared-interest hobbyists are now an embedded part of our culture. Not only in tracking down MAGA / QAnon jackasses but as we just saw yesterday with those knuckleheads who were in that circle of incels fetishing over guns, god, and gear...and, it turns out America's secrets. The 'leader' has been arrested ....and is gonna face some really really bad juju*.
(*what da hell is a mere 21yr old doing have access to such secrets of America? Criminey!)
Anyway, back to the seditionists and insurrectionist and rioters and attackers of January 6th. Here's a guy who was a model. And now we'll see how his pretty face fares in prison. (Maybe the 'body building' stuff will save his, ummm, virginity?)
"WASHINGTON, D.C. — A former body builder and model from Holt was sentenced to three years in federal prison Thursday for taking part in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol aimed at disrupting congressional action to certify the results of the 2020 election.
Logan Barnhart, nicknamed "#CatSweat" by online sleuths who used facial recognition software to identify rioters, pleaded guilty to assalting, resisting or impeding officers who tried to repel the mob at the Capitol's archway.
The government said Barnhart grabbed an officer by the neck of his ballistic vest and helped as rioters dragged the officer down the steps, where the officer was beaten with batons and flagpoles**."
**ps....I note that aspect of the J6 attack. Those MAGA jackasses were beating police with flagpoles flying the American flag or Blue Lives Matter flags. WTH! WTF! MAGA!
