Jeff Sessions Dismisses Hawaii as ‘an Island in the Pacific’

Shall we set up a hierarchy? Some kind of point system where all states are equal but some are more equal than others? Something random where, say, some southeastern state on the eastern edge of the Central Time Zone gets more points than "an island in the Pacific"?

We have that already. It's called the Electoral College. One of the things that keeps America great!

By the way, that nasty little man ag sessions, can't fire a judge

The only one who said that was far left Progressive BASQUEBROMANCE. Several witless Progressives followed that erroneous tale before the adults were heard.

"I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power."

I wonder if he calls Florida a peninsula instead of state.
Why not? It is both.

You liberals are so determined to nitpick at Trump and his administration you are getting all twisted up over properly used English.

Jeebus, take a fucking pill!
It's not about his English. It's his vindictive, demeaning remarks, not just a judge but a federal district judge, not just an island in the Pacific but a state. It's "amazing" that a judge can stay an executive order? That's what judges do if circumstances warrant. That's how our country works. The attorney general should respect this, even when he disagrees with a court's decision.

Nothing Sessions said was demeaning about Hawaii, though he does correctly put the focus on an out of control imperialistic judiciary and the need to bring them to heel.

Zackly --- if he's "amazed" at what the job of a federal judge is, then (a) he shouldn't have voted for that judge to put him in that position, and (b) he shouldn't be the fricking Attorney General. That office kind of requires knowing how the judicial branch works.

You're STILL free to essplain to the class exactly how that geography renders a judicial decision moot..

Are some states, or some land masses ---- somehow more valid interpreting the law than others?

Electoral college.............. oh yes, that thing that keeps election day turnout down to embarrassing levels because half the electorate sees no point. That one.

Federal appointments are lifetime appointments.
Unless they get IMPEACHED which is damned sure what should happen to this fucking moron of a judge.

Yeah?
What for?

Whats next, he is going to rule that he gets a winning lottery ticket? That the 2016 election was not to his liking so put Hillary in?

Why would he do that?

I would like to see warring judges making ruling that neutralize each other, that would be hilarious!

"Today Judge Ipshitz of Cleveland district Hugivesafuck over ruled judge Fartlow of California on his ruling that Judge Coxuker of Detroit was out of his scope of authority to rule that Goldman Sachs had to give him a $2 million account or he would confiscate their property." That would be hilarious as all hell.

My, you're easily amused aren't you.

Where is the limit of scope and authority of federal judges?

According to AG Sessions Gump it floats away at the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean.
His logic, don't ask me. :dunno:

No one has yet told me what that limit is as of yet. They are all little Imperial tyrants that can make up any fucking ruling that they want and get away with it.

OK Simples I'll let you in on the big secret here.
They're judges. They're put there to do that. And that's why Sessions Gump voted to make him that judge.

These ass hats are just people, nothing more and they need to be held accountable.

How are they not "accountable"? They have the entire Pacific Ocean isolating them. Apparently sea water nullifies judicial rullings now. Too bad you didn't get the memo.

Here ya go Twinkles, want to see an example of grounds to impeach a judge that has a bit more meat on its bones than "I disagree with the ruling"?

>> Lee insisted upon his innocence from the day of his arrest through the night of his execution. He implored Arkansas to let him take a DNA test and compare the results to DNA collected at the scene of the murder he allegedly committed, but the state refused. Lee also presented evidence that his trial attorney provided ineffective assistance of counsel and that the presiding judge lacked neutrality: At the time, the judge was having an undisclosed affair with the assistant prosecutor. (They later married.) Lee’s counsel on appeal appeared in court so drunk that he slurred his words. <<
Oh by the way that Lee guy is dead now. The state murdered him two days ago.

Here are the p[ossibilities:

1) Sessions did not know a district judge could place a hold on his supreme leadfer's EO.
2) He thinks Hawaii as a State is not on the same level of importance as other States

Which is it?

OK, listen up!

Here's the bottom line!

Those unAmerican "judges" in Hawaii, Washington and Maryland are now under observation 24/7/365.

Their homosexual assignations in public rest rooms are being photographed and recorded.

Their cash payoffs from Soros are being traced.

Their long histories of child molestation are being verified.

Those filthy little microbes of worm excrement are TOAST.

Know what we mean?
How is that the Common defense. Gun lovers complain about restrictions upon their Individual Liberty to keep and bear Arms. Only the General defense may require such restrictions, not the Common defense.

Referring to Hawaii as just an island in the Pacific and not a state is certainly demeaning, particularity in this context.

Sessions did not say that Hawaii is not a state.

That is your ideological partisan delusional preference to believe, dude.

I doubt he would refer to a judge in Texas as a judge sitting in the desert or a Florida judge as in the swamp.
