It would be nice for some Republican "leader" to give a major speech on why "we" don't think that crippling ourselves economically through adoption of marginally efficacious energy schemes (as opposed to abundant carbon-based fuels) is a worthwhile endeavor, given the speculative nature of predictions of the end of human life - as we know it. And that speech might mention that all of our efforts come to naught, relatively speaking, when considering the manifestly reasonable activities of China, India, and the developing world to harness COAL to advance themselves, so to speak, to modernity.

But I won't hold my breath. Such a speech would bring about such a firestorm of Media castigation that it well might be political suicide for anyone but Trump. And He's not articulate enough to give the speech.
