Early on June 4, while police officers watched from shore, Johnny “JJ” Baldwin drowned in Winchester, Tennessee, 90 miles south of Nashville. The Winchester police department released the bodycam video of the incident to Baldwin’s family, which shows officers failing to act and even taunting Baldwin, and Heavy has learned the video was released to ABC News by the family.

The 24-year-old Illinois man, who was in Tennessee visiting family, jumped into Tims Ford Boiling Fork Creek after fleeing from police over a minor traffic violation, Winchester Police Chief Richard Lewis told ABC News.

I don't see where this is a "murder" at all. The police officers didn't throw him into the creek, and they didn't hold his head under the water either. Mr. Baldwin drowned on his own initiative.

I guess they could have called Frogmen, firefighters or other specialists to rescue the man, and maybe they did.
