they just keep cheating so the courts just keep slapping them down.

Why is this never reported in the news?

While I agree that there should be MORE Federal Takeover of Police agencies across the US, I fail to see where the "Republican Cheating" is.

There IS a little bit here (linked from the OP's link) about DOJ Malfeasance, but that was in 2012 from the Obama DOJ:

Link from inside OP's own linked article:
City files motion to vacate NOPD consent decree | New Orleans - WDSU Home
In its filing, the city said the three main reasons the city is seeking relief are: failure of the federal government to disclose all costs related to the proposed reforms, former federal prosecutor Sal Perricone's involvement with the negotiations and cost and structure of how paid police details were managed. Perricone served as the (Obama) DOJ's point man in the negotiations. Last year, as the I-Team first reported, Perricone was unmasked as a online commenter, posting negative remarks about open investigations about criminal suspects.
Perricone resigned as a result of an ongoing federal investigation.
See, while I do want the Democrats to succeed because they're policies most closely follow Communism, I want to at least be honest about what I post.

TM, what are you trying to do here, Mislead or Lie?

The Department of Justice responded to the motions, arguing that the "City's three-paragraph motion has failed to set forth any legally-sufficient basis for staying implementation of the Decree."

In Friday's ruling, Judge Susie Morgan noted: "The Court agrees with the United States."

1. George Orwell’s classic novel, “1984” resonates today because we are inundated with the kind of double-talk that Orwell identified as “doublethink.” It is the habit of claiming that black is white, in contradiction to the plain facts, when party loyalty demands it. Such as a doctrine of racialism in the Civil Rights Division of DOJ.

2. The Civil Rights Division of the DOJ was set up in 1957 by President Eisenhower. The DOJ website proudly proclaims, “The Division has grown dramatically in both size and scope.,” and now has almost 400 lawyers, and the same number of support staff. Responsible for enforcing many laws…especially civil rights and voting laws.

3.Imagine the Civil Rights Division being the welcoming home to beliefs that are repugnant to mainstream America, namely that civil rights laws do not protect everyone equally, but only certain select minorities. And that the Attorney-General himself, identifies with this belief! Doublethink.
