Donations are exactly how an outlet like NPR should be funded.

The thing I like about NPR is that they are even further to the left of ABC, CBS, and NBC, but . . . they are not as diligent about scrubbing the truth as those commercial networks. Often, they let facts slip out that are counter to the narrative.

At the same time, they are so clumsy in their propagandizing for progressivism, anti-Semitism, and divisiveness among Americans, that anyone who thinks they are getting unbiased news is so idiotic that they barely count in the political discourse.

What I noted when I was young and watched anything on PBS was the proud list of corporate donors right next to the message about how badly they needed my donation.
