Despite the NYC Dept of Educations' denial that the now infamous "rubber rooms", places where teachers deemed incompetent or are awaiting disciplinary hearings are sent to basically do nothing at full pay, are still in existence.
These people are paid their full salary and benefits, yet do no work.

Nope. Not gonna do that. However, it is well documented that liberals have near virtual lockstep support of public worker unions....
With that said I believe there needs to be a balance struck between the interests of the employees AND the taxpayers that support their wages and benefits.
As things stand now, that balance is tilted dramatically in favor of the unionized public employee. And it just is not right.
This story is just one example of an out of control system.
As a rational person, surely you cannot support this nonsense.
