According to the New York Times, President Clinton's national security adviser asked the brothers to back out of this venture, which the paper described as having "caused trouble for US foreign policy."

I'm already on record as Hillary by 272 and negative coattails. Reason? She knows how to turn out the graveyard vote and she is a bucket list candidate that can play centrist. The Democrats lack anyone else who has all three of those things going for 'em. Even with the bankrolling of the vast majority of the top 0.001% the Ds have gone way too far left to win without all three factors favoring them.

Never look to politically connected folks for honesty and morals. Politics is a dirty game, and folks connected to politicians are dirty as well. Everything about the Clinton's, including family members, reeks of dirty laundry. If you're looking for outstanding moral character in politicians, or those closely connected to politicians, you'll die of old age before it happens. Now, don't forget to vote for professional politicians come November of 2016.
