Sorry, but Texans are very big on their non-Hollywood celebrities. This isn't surprising in any way. It's a field trip, part of their actual education (at least some states still do that you know) regardless of who is speaking or not. Bush doesn't make policy anymore, so there is no possible reason he would want to sway their little minds into blindly supporting him. (READ RADICAL RIGHTIE AGENDA...) We stopped holding kids accountable for their actions with my generation, we give them awards when they don't even do anything, and now corporations are having to re structure how they deal with their employees because my generations wants everything for nothing.

However, I wanted to stop the spin that the article was about a field trip to a stadium. That was NOT the premise.

Come on DC, you're spinning a little there. It is a field trip to the Cowboy's stadium just like it is a field trip to the science museum. Those are merely the locations where the field trip is taking place. The program being put on for the students is what counts. They are simply going to the Cowboy's stadium to see Bush and other celebrities, not to see the stadium.
