Recreational pot was voted in here by referendum three years ago and even though the legislature has dragged its feet and nearly derailed it with red tape, we now have five "smoke" shops, as we call 'em, one for every 550 residents, in a town where it is 50 miles to the nearest movie theater, 60 miles to a dry cleaners or a store to buy underwear or jeans. We have more pot shops than restaurants, just waiting for the green light to sell recreational pot. But it still isn't legal to buy it unless you have a prescription (a Medical Marijuana Card).
