Leaving the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

There is no lack of information on how we are losing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The question I'm pondering is how does America disengage?

Maybe America does not want to pull out. The consequences would be too painful.
If so, then America will be saddled with two expensive dependent's until something unforeseen changes the dynamic.

On the other hand, we don't have much skin in the game. A few acceptable casualties, a great training environment, our foot in various doors, a few billion here and there that keeps the Military/Industrial complex humming along.

OK, we stay.

9/11/01 was an inside job in order to have an excuse to wage war in the Middle East...nothing more and nothing less.
