Let Us Hear What Other Arabs Have Said

"There is no such country as Palestine. 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. 'Palestine' is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it".
- Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 -

"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not".
- Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946 -

"It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria".
- Representant of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956 -

What other Arabs declared after the Six-Day War:

"There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity... yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel".
- Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council -

"You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people".
- Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yassir Arafat -

Not even the Palestinians or their supporters can deny these statements.

It is interesting that the arab "experts" on "palestine" all provided disparate
"definitions" of "palestine------and NONE OF THEM GOT IT EVEN REMOTELY
historically correct. Why would anyone ask them?----they clearly have no concept
of the actual history of "palestine" I have spoken extensively with muslims from
around the world----about all sorts of topics INCLUDING "history" My sense is
that muslims, in general (I am referring to foreign born muslims educated
in muslim lands) have virtually no concept of history other than a kind of fantastical,
THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS version which starts with the koran and moves to
BAGHDAD for the flying carpet stories . Of course,,, by
the time the koran came around---PALESTINE WAS PALESTINE the name conferred
on Israel/Judea ---by the ROMANS----in the first century AD But unless the
translator of the versions of the koran I read missed it----"PALESTINE" is not
mentioned in the koran which was written sometime ---I believe in the EIGHTH
century AD It is not mentioned in the New Testament, of course I wonder
just when arabs FINALLY picked up the name------probably in the 20th century,
which is why some arabs thought of it as PART OF THE SYRIAN EMPIRE ---
lets keep in mind----it was at one time invaded by greeks from Syria who
did occupy for awhile----but that was in the "BCE" era which to muslims pre-dates
creation and did not last long anyway----at least not in REAL LIFE---maybe
it did still exist in the land of the 1001 nights

A very interesting aspect of the islamic version of history---at least my
impression----is that ARABIA gets quickly put on the back burner.

the points of interest move to BAGHDAD and ----to some extent to
SPAIN ---some places in North Africa and thence to Turkey---with
a whole other mess of barbarity going on in South east ASIA

Why is it that threads such as these that could teach so many so much are avoided? Where are the arab voices to speak up about this? Anyone?

I mentioned earlier the Pali supporters couldn't argue with the statements and they won't.They're hiding behind their Wikipedia and Haaretz.

Amazing how not one of them can answer to these statements! I'm speechless! :eusa_silenced:
