Until recently, for many years, I followed a message board that was 90% liberal. Here's my question. I only have a couple of liberal/progressive friends. But, what I've noticed in my 60+ years, is that most liberal thinkers come from broken homes. Divorce, no father figure around much & abuse. Could it be that they never had a chance? Not that all kids of broken homes becomes liberal, just that it might encourage self-doubt, self-blame or other insecurities.

I got my political values mainly from my father who was a union organizer and blacklisted as a communist on the McCarthy era because of it. The same sort of shit that Republicans are trying to pull now by stupidly labeling current day liberals as communists

Having said that, let me ask you What the fuck is NOT OUR FAULT.? Spell it out. ! You seem to be operating on the assumption that being liberal is some sort of mental illness. Liberalism has built the middle class with progressive tax policies and worker protection. Liberalism has made it possible for people to retire and have health benefits. Liberalism has ensure that you have clean air to breath and water to drink. Liberalism has resulted in people being reasonably confident that the food that they eat and medicines that they take are safe. office . Liberlism has brought a modicum of racial and gender equality to society. Liberalism has promoted a free and public education system and so much more In short, liberalism has promoted the concept that government should work to make life better for ordinary people and not just exist as an end in itself

The scum bags that you people voted into office have one goal in mind. To undue all of that and promote an oligarchy for the wealth and a theocracy for the holy rollers. So I ask you again. WHAT THE FUCK IS NOT OUR FAULT?

That may be a lot of it but I'm still sticking with the theory that they inherited bad genes and continue passing them on. I was on a forum which was mostly liberal with liberal moderators and I couldn't take it anymore. I left because my voice was drowned out and the moderators took care of the rest.

A new poll says that voters significantly disapprove of Mayor Karen Bass' job performance on wildfire response.
According to a new survey of likely Los Angeles city voters conducted by pollster David Wolfson on behalf of the consulting firm Madison McQueen, 54 percent of Angelenos disapprove of how Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is handling the wildfires in Los Angeles, compared to 37 percent who approve.

If the 2026 election for Los Angeles mayor were held today, Bass would lose to her 2022 challenger, real estate developer Rick Caruso by 7 points, with Caruso sitting on 43 percent and Bass with 36 percent.

Also, if the election were held today, Bass would probably be attending a presidential inauguration in Africa.
Even 43 percent of voters said they would now consider Republican leadership in LA county and/or the city of Los Angeles.

Karen Bass' performance during the fires was so pathetic that highly partisan Democrats are starting to look for alternatives.

Further...even many average males were stronger, faster and more athletic than the strongest, fastest and most athletic females.

So we created a carve out. A very logical, common sense division.

Male would have one league in sports and females would have another. That way the best, fastest and strongest females would also be recognized.

But here come the mentally ill to fuck everything up.

Now for some ungodly reason, our female athletes are forced to compete against biological men who simply IDENTIFY as women.

The only brain capable of producing the twisted rationale that produces this conclusion suffers from extreme mental illness.
