The farce was over before it began but Schitt couldn't back out now....he'd try to fake his way through it but the cameras were unrelenting and his twin-billing opening act was failing miserably. Kent, the guy with the bow tie and diplomatic lineage, grew increasingly uncomfortable when challenged. Taylor, the guy with the resume but no first-hand knowledge of events broke into an embarrassed grin when Jordan called him the "star" of the proceedings. They both finally admitted they didn't know if a crime had been committed and were there under subpoena. Schitt grew increasingly quiet during the afternoon session after backing down from Ratcliffe's challenge to engage in a two-way conversation. And then it was over and the pundits, even CNN, ripped the wee fool a new one. With the banished former ambassador bringing her tawdry reputation to testify on Friday, even Pelousy must feel cheap and dirty..but not like little Adam; this was his show and it was over before it began. BAWK!
