This one was close to home for me.

In 2010, a big development company submitted plans to convert an abandoned armory in the Bronx into a vital retail center. Because the developer would not agree to condition that any retailer pay all employees a "Living Wage", the NY City Council voted almost unanimously against it.

In 2011 State of the Bronx Address, the Borough President announced that they could do better, they were going to make it...ready? an ice skating rink!

In 2012 State of the Bronx Address, the Borough President announced that they...were going to do something with the space...a park? Who knows?

At some point, don't you have to realize you're making a mistake?

What will it take?
