MAGA: The Bone Spur endorses 25-cent hike in gas tax to pay for infrastructure plan. Wheee!

The only ObamaGas I remember was his penchant for farting in the elevator and leaving everyone else to deal with the smell.
I recall the lowest gas prices I've ever seen under Obama.
Please point to GOP lower prices. After a better Potus called raygoon/Carter.

How old are you 12? I remember gas being 36 cents .

Nope. I,/ We are reviewing the overall price here, the price WAY in the older days were under the older 7 Sisters controlling the oil prices..

The Dollar now, is not the Dollar back then or the new taxes on it now.
Or is the controllers as of today, on setting prices, over the last 40 years.

Bother someone else with your spin.
Were real facts too much to deal with?
Obviously you can't read a graph.

If this gas tax increase is realized it will be a disaster. There is already too much tax on gasoline and that money has been robbed. There is no reason to expect another gas tax increase would not be robbed as well.
Way to go, democrats. Just keep taxing and stealing.
Buying votes is getting more and more expensive.
Especially for those of us who aren’t bought.

Trump reportedly endorses 25-cent hike in gas tax to pay for infrastructure plan
  • President Donald Trump is reportedly open to raising the federal tax on gasoline and diesel by 25 cents to pay for the White House's infrastructure plan.
  • The current taxes, which have not been raised in nearly 25 years, are 18.4 cents per gallon for gasoline and 24.4 cents for diesel.
  • At least some Republican lawmakers and many conservative groups are opposed to hiking the federal fuel levy.
  • Trump endorses 25-cent gas tax increase

How about if we keep our politicians from RAIDING the monies that we've always paid in taxes on gas to pay for other things? The reason our infrastructure is crumbling is that they've siphoned off large parts of those taxes.

It's time to rein in the growth of government in this country. Raise taxes? I'm fine with that as long as its accompanied by getting rid of the ridiculous waste of our tax dollars that takes place each and every day!

– The average price of a gallon of gas has increased 96 percent since President Barack Obama first took office in 2009, according to figures from the Energy Information Agency (EIA).

According to EIA data, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the United States was $1.838 on Jan. 19, 2009--the day before Obama took office. As of Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, the per-gallon price had risen to an average of $3.611--an increase of 96 percent.

The $3.677 is not the highest gas prices have been under President Obama. That record was reached the week of May 9, 2011 when they averaged $3.965 per gallon.

Granted, back in 2013, gas prices were a bit steep, but quick question for you............

What was the price of gas when Obama left office?

What Middle Class worker do you think isn't being paid a "living wage"?

The liberal notion that you can artificially set wages to "fix" economic issues never fails to amuse! You've pushed hard for a big increase in the minimum wage. Have you noticed how many "self serve" kiosks you're now seeing at Walmart's and fast food places like McDonald's and Panera Bread? Think that's a coincidence?
