We have the strongest economy on the planet, the strongest military in the history of the planet, and an unrivaled position as a global superpower. Job growth is strong, our enemies are on the run, our civil rights are a model for the world, and our insured rate is the best it’s ever been.

Trump throws our country under the bus everytime he mentions his catchphrase. His supporters follow suit. The RW 'rs here cry constantly about everything they can dream up bemoaning the aforementioned qualities of THEIR HOME.

To them I say good morning, and have a great day in the most wonderful place in the world. Losers like you deserve some greatness.

Strongest? I get what you're saying but why haven't we won a war since WW2?
We haven't?

You are going to have to convince the Middle Class. Take home pay is down and healthcare costs are up.

As Gibbon, the foremost historian of the Roman Empire wrote:

The story of its ruin is simple and obvious; and, instead of inquiring why the Roman empire was destroyed, we should rather be surprised that it had subsisted so long. The victorious legions, who, in distant wars, acquired the vices of strangers and mercenaries, first oppressed the freedom of the republic, and afterwards violated the majesty of the purple. The emperors, anxious for their personal safety and the public peace, were reduced to the base expedient of corrupting the discipline which rendered them alike formidable to their sovereign and to the enemy; the vigour of the military government was relaxed, and finally dissolved, by the partial institutions of Constantine; and the Roman world was overwhelmed by a deluge of Barbarians.
— Edward Gibbon. The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, "General Observations on the Fall of the Roman Empire in the West", Chapter 38

History does indeed repeat itself.
