Let's put this BS to bed NOW. The is no Constitutional requirement for the House to submit anything to the Senate after it has voted for impeachment, nor is there any requirement that the Senate do anything but vote on the matter.

By voting down both of the bogus Articles of Impeachment, the Senate would nullify the House action and probably nullify any House attempt to reinstate the same charges against President Trump.

The Dems have already hung themselves by their witch hunt, so why not put an end to it now? This would marginalize any "new evidence" about Trump/Ukraine/etc. and let the election campaign be Trump vs. Pelosi (and whatever wierdo the Dems nominate).

Moot point as regardless of the outcome, the democrats intend to keep impeaching Trump for something, blocking him, obstructing all things humanly possible to the absolute limit of the law until he is removed or his terms are out.

The delay in sending over the House Articles of Impeachment is making the Dems look like lying fools and a significant majority of voters, including some Dem Senators think that Pelosi should quit messing around. The status quo is working in the GOP's favor, there's no need for them to do anything really except get some popcorn and watch the Dems continue to implode.

The news today is that Pelosi said she still won't send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

This needs work. Closure.

Here Trump is trying to deal with a war, and the Dems are still trying to impeach him for winning an election when they didn't want him to. I think that's pretty terrible.

Well of course you know their INTENTION is to try to make the Senate and McConnell appear to be the problem, to say that they are protecting Trump so that when he is acquitted, they can claim that the GOP is corrupt and Trump is illegitimate.

Whatever they can do to cast a shadow over Trump hoping it costs him votes.

Pelosi needs charged with Obstruction of Government and Interfering with an impeachment trial.

Agreed. But I don't think it's going to work out for them, just like everything they've tried for 3 years. IMHO, Trump is squarely in the driver's seat and it's his election to lose. His decision not to hit back at Iran was politically brilliant, he looks presidential and the Dems look like shit.

So Thats their "INTENTION". Heck, you would almost think they had political differences with the guy. Go Figure.

You know, I wonder if that wasn't his plan after killing Soleimani, to make the Dems think he was a loose wheel, going to bomb the entire country, get the Dems reeling, then pull back and make them look like fools.

Political differences? C'mon. The democrats have taken this about 4.6 light years past the point of mere "political differences!" :auiqs.jpg:

Killing Soleimani was a good idea, but you are giving Don far too much credit for strategy, and besides, murder for political gain is worse than extortion of foreign leaders for political gain.

Guess I'm rusty with sarcasm. Actually I used to be quite a smart ass in my younger days. :)

I don't think another impeachment vote would be brought up, much less pass the House. After being rejected by the Senate, it would look even more like a comical hissy fit by the Dems before the election.

Yeah, what would Trump know about strategy only being a billionaire developer and TV star having owned and run 100 different businesses, never before in politics beating out 17 top GOP candidates, proving all of the pundits wrong 50 times, then beating a lifetime career politician backed by 2 billion dollars then survived and prospered with a long list of successes despite constant investigations, accusations, charges, and obstruction. o_O

I couldn't agree more.

They need to sit back, grab a beer and popcorn and LTAO.

Yeah, ripping off countless contractors, investors, banks, the government, students, etc, and taking bankruptcy is usually regarded as excellent strategy, and highly indicative top notch businessmen. Some people are so adept that they do it 6 times or more in an effort to attract that good Russian money, to get pesky American banker out of the way, and yet find time to dabble significantly in charity funding. :)
