Meriam Ibrahim Re-Arrested in Sudan Just Day After Being Freed

A mother who was freed from death row for refusing to renounce Christianity has been re-arrested just one day later while trying to leave Sudan, her lawyer told NBC News on Tuesday. Meriam Ibrahim, 27, was "very happy" after an appeals court on Monday overturned a death sentence imposed because she married a Christian man and allegedly turned her back on Islam. But lawyer Elshareef Ali Mohammed said a group of 50 security force personnel arrested her and family members during an angry confrontation at Khartoum's airport on Tuesday.

oh gee----they want to shut her up... -------any idea to where she and her family intended to flee?

The 27-year-old was arrested along with her American husband, Daniel Wani, and their two children, Martin, almost two, and Maya, two weeks old.
Their lawyer, Elshareef Ali Mohammed, was with them at the time, and said they were given no reason for their detention. The arrest comes just hours after photos emerged of Ms Ibrahim smiling as she was reunited with her family.
"They are being held at the airport by National Security officials over documentation issues and the US Embassy is trying to work it out," Tina Ramirez, director of Hardwired, told The Telegraph. Ms Ramirez believed that they were initially hoping to travel to South Sudan - now an independent country - as their paperwork to travel to the US is still being processed.

Sudan apostasy: Meriam Ibrahim rearrested with husband at Khartoum airport > New English Review

A day after her release, Ibrahim was taken into custody by members of Sudan’s national intelligence and security services as she tried to board a flight leaving Sudan.
Ibrahim’s husband and two children were taken into custody as well.
“There is no legal basis for this, it is an arbitrary arrest,” her lawyer, Elshareef Ali, said.

Are the Sudanese mullahs so stupid they think nobody's watching what they do????

Seems to be.
It's their sovereign nation though...as the PC brigades of appeasement and muliculturalism keep telling us in the Christian West.
"Their sovereign nation, their justice system, their laws, and their culture" they tell us.

The mullahs are far more clever than you imagine. I learned all about it from
muslims in the USA. The mullahs and ---the generally accepted Islamic ethos---
includes a concept of "we can and they can't" I learned about it more than 40
years ago-------and in the past 40 years it has been more and more manifested.

Not only does the ethos include a "we can and they can't" concept----it includes
a sense of "BECAUSE WE CAN AND 'they' CAN'T AND WE DO.......'they' will
'surrender' " because 'they' will come to RESPECT OUR GREATNESS!!!!!

a reality of history is ----the mafia developed in Sicily during the time that
Sicily was occupied by muslims

I responded to the "we can and you can't" approach with "what makes you
think "ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE CANNOT DO THE SAME THING"?????? (I was very
young at the time) My smiling informant simply giggled and shook his head.

Over the years he has been proven right. Muslims can bomb millennia old
irreplaceable religious monuments (like the Giant Buddha carvings) and the
matter is a simple news story------but it someone does a line drawing of the rapist
pig of mecca--------ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE OVER THE WHOLE PLANET
