Michelle Obama: 'Our Government Outlawed Indian Religions'

Michelle Obama's problem is she thinks people give a shit about what she says.

You can take the igger out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the igger.

Well Stevie McRacist sure seems to follow her every word.

Even classless has class in it.

The 1st Amendment does not protect religions that call for murder and mayhem.Indian religions banned all called for the Indians to rise and attack the Government and the people of this Country. Much as Islam does.
Nothing in Native American spirituality calls for "the Indians to rise and attack the Government and the people of this Country." Where do you get such nonsense?
Wrong, the Sioux were preaching that they should rise and attack the Government supported by their ghosts of times past. Sorry if you did not get the education that I did but then I went to school BEFORE the libs dumbed everything down.

You'll have to take that up with McGarrett.

You were brainwashed then.

The Ghost Dance was associated with Wilson's (Wovoka's) prophecy of a peaceful end to white expansion while preaching goals of clean living, an honest life, and cross-cultural cooperation by Native Americans. Practice of the Ghost Dance movement was believed to have contributed to Lakota resistance to assimilation under the Dawes Act. In the Wounded Knee Massacre in 1890, U.S. Army forces killed at least 153 Miniconjou and Hunkpapa from the Lakota people.[3] The Sioux variation on the Ghost Dance tended towards millenarianism, an innovation that distinguished the Sioux interpretation from Jack Wilson's original teachings. The Caddo Nation still practices the Ghost Dance today.[4]

Ghost Dance - The Messiah Letter from Wovoka

(excerpt of the prophesy)

Grandfather [a universal title of reverence among Indians and here meaning the messiah] says, when your friends die you must not cry. You must not hurt anybody or do harm to anyone. You must not fight. Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life. This young man has a good father and mother. [Possibly this refers to Casper Edson, the young Arapaho who wrote down this message of Wovoka for the delegation].

Do not tell the white people about this. Jesus is now upon the earth. He appears like a cloud. The dead are all alive again. I do not know when they will be here; maybe this fall or in the spring. When the time comes there will be no more sickness and everyone will be young again.

Do not refuse to work for the whites and do not make any trouble with them until you leave them. When the earth shakes [at the coming of the new world] do not be afraid. It will not hurt you.

What you were probably taught, was that the government TOLD the natives that they could not do the ghost dance and that they refused to comply.

Resistance to assimilation, and preaching insurrection are two completely different things.

Big moo is what happens when you go to Spain and Hawaii on vacation instead of New Mexico and the Dakotas.
