Like others, I am unclear on what is meant by "Militant Christian." I am willing to throw everything aside to stand by a belief. Let's start with the Apostles Creed.

It prohibeted Preaching politics from the Pulpit except for minority churches who commonly ignore the law and preach politics from the pulpit while they retain their tax exempt status but thats another issue . Anyway , preaching from the pulpit about politics was very common and 'lbj' and the 'dems' wanted to shut the churches up EWings . I'll get some info for you EWings .
