More police, more crime ?

You have to question the reasoning and or the sanity of the voters who keep putting people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in office. She has stated that crime went up on the subway system in NY because there where more officers patrolling. Stupid just does not describe her anymore.

Remember all the rioting that went on in our big cities a couple of years ago? How many democrat mayors and city council members were replaced by repubs? How many governors of blue states got voted out? How many state and local judges? Not very many, right? These guys are going to talk the talk like they've been doing for decades but actually do nothing about crime at all. Defund the police, abolish the PD! Yeah, that went over well, didn't it? The way I remember it, cities that cut their police force ended up with a much larger crime problem.
