Anti-Trump Text Messages Show Pattern Of Bias On Mueller’s Team

Oh, those liberals are corrupt to the core...

For nearly four months, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office, the Justice Department and the FBI have kept secret the fact that the FBI agent who oversaw the Russia investigation exchanged anti-Trump and pro-Hillary Clinton text messages with an FBI attorney who was also his mistress.

Those messages, the existence of which were revealed in bombshell reports published over the weekend, highlight a pattern of the Mueller team.

Many of Mueller’s prosecutors — it has been extensively reported — have made campaign contributions to Clinton and other Democratic political candidates. And a review by The Daily Caller shows that Mueller lawyers involved in the cases against four Trump associates are Democratic donors.

But Peter Strzok’s text messages — which he exchanged with Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer who worked briefly on the Russia investigation — are perhaps the most significant evidence of anti-Trump bias uncovered so far on the Mueller team.

What it shows is that Mueller won't allow anti-Trump bias--or any type of bias--on his team.
You should be glad of that.
How do you manage to twist it into the opposite?

Bad look to have biased investigators.

It can compromise a trial....just as it would if a policeman was texting bad things about someone he eventually arrested....it would be brought up in court and could damage the credibility of the investigation.

FBI and the DOJ are facing contempt of Congress charges for hiding the reason this agent was fired.

This is a big f'n deal.

"Until now, Nunes said, the FBI and Department of Justice have failed to sufficiently comply with an Aug. 24 committee subpoena — including by refusing repeated demands “for an explanation of Peter Strzok’s dismissal from the Mueller probe.”

“In light of today’s press reports, we now know why Strzok was dismissed, why the FBI and DOJ refused to provide us this explanation, and at least one reason why they previously refused to make Deputy Director McCabe available to the Committee for an interview,” Nunes said.

“By hiding from Congress, and from the American people, documented political bias by a key FBI head investigator for both the Russia collusion probe and the Clinton email investigation, the FBI and DOJ engaged in a willful attempt to thwart Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibility,” he said.

Nunes, in the statement, said the committee will move on a resolution by the end of the month unless its demands are “fully met” by the close of business Dec. 4.

He cited “a months-long pattern by the DOJ and FBI of stonewalling and obstructing this Committee’s oversight work,” including also withholding subpoenaed information about their use of an opposition research dossier that targeted Trump in the 2016 election.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions would not be a target of any contempt action by the committee, Nunes has said, because he recused himself from any investigation into charges that Russia meddled in the election.

Confidentiality? If you were "demoted," would you want it all over the front page? What is important is that it was done.

Should he not be investigated on his previous cases? Such obvious bias should not be tolerated.

It's apparent this Russian investigation business is purely political. The FBI and justice department proved to be puppets of the Democrats and Obama admin., and this investigation into nothing in hopes for something is just an extension.

While we've had a history corrupt regimes, in my opinion the Obama admin. was the worst of the bunch.

He can't prevent what he doesn't know about. Had the guy not tweeted, he would have been just as biased. Tip of the iceberg.

This witch hunt was designed to get enough dirt on Trump and his team to bring about not a conviction because there was no crime but to bring about an impeachment. Let me make this clear to the swamp. If you attempt to impeach Trump it will mean the end of you, the end of life time politicians, and the end of the media as we know it.
The march on DC will dwarf anything seen before.

If you want your investigation to be taken seriously, the investigators should be unbiased.

It's just common sense, isn't it?
You folks seem to consider choosing to support one political party or individual running for President as being "biased." What you really want to do is penalize anyone that didn't support Trump and the Republicans. I haven't heard a peep from anyone about those who DIDN'T support the Democrats that are on the team. Supposedly, they supported the Repubs? So that's okay with you?
What you are asking for, based on your own rules, is for people who have shrugged off their duty and obligation as Americans to participate in the political process.
It's not your damned business who any of them voted for, or what campaign they supported.

If they show bias against those they are investigating, they are immediately booted off the team. So you should be glad of that.

This is disgusting.

I have always in the past regarded the FBI, the CIA and the DOJ with the utmost respect and admiration. Frankly I'm having a real problem dealing with the realities that these agencies have become politicized to the degree they have over the years.

Very disappointing.
