Why not both ?I don't go to music to teach me
I go to music to ease my soul...
sorry for being abrupt ...but that's how it is for me.

I'm not much of a piano technician I just know there are 3 strings per key and they need to be tuned relative to each other to produce a clear "tone". If I hold my finger on one or two strings of a key the frequency is correct but the sound is really thin. There must be some sort of harmonic convergence or something with the 3 strings.I have a question - okay if there are 88 keys on a piano, why are there 230 strings inside ? ( I could Google it but I'd rather have one to look at and figure it out on my own)That's funny, I thought piano was easy to learn but struggled with the guitar. The hand positioning was awkward and it just didn't click with me. We are all wired differently I guess.
Music means different things to different people. To some it means nothing at all which is hard for me to fathom, but it's true.I don't go to music to teach me

I'm willing to as flexible as needed toIf the OP is talking about music lessons...
like piano lessons or violin leassons.....that sort or teaching
well...that is different.
ok?
but
listening to a song??????????????
and expecting that song to teach you something?
omg I better say nothing here.
This is a good short little guitar lesson.
(It helps to speak Brazilian to fully keep up.)
Well, I'm being flexible, but the op sort of spoke for itself and then it took a few detours. I just like to 'imagine outside the jar' so to speak. Call it my daily contribution to encouraging creative thinking, as opposed to most of the clutter which is more or less repeat stuff.cool
so now you say you are talking about music lessons online
fine.....that's a different story then.![]()
So you don't eat both apples and oranges?no
