He is not a Marxist but he does have some sympathies toward democratic socialism which is altogether different.I don't understand why anyone of the right would care if there is a threat to Pope Francis. After all, according to the hard right, the Pope is a Communist/Marxist/Socialist for making statements that mirror what the Bible says about taking care of the poor and the environment.
There is a Catholic saint prophesy, whose name I cant recall off hand, that says that this Pope is the last Pope of Rome. He listed a whole bunch of ambiguous descriptions of each pope sequentially, and most of it matches up in the way that such figurative language lends itself to. But then I think one of the three kids who was a witness at Fatima had become a nun and lived a sheltered life and she gave the wording of a last prophesy from Mary, and that one describes the death of the Pope, being shot down in broad daylight by men in fatigues. And what she said was supposed to mean that the slaughtered Pope would be the last Pope.Well what do you think Catholics, and ALL Christians, along with Jews that have been fighting this shit since 1948, and before, is this a WAR ON RELIGION, a NEW CRUSADES started by the fucking muslim's? How many of you actually BELIEVE that ALL MUSLIM'S, or, at least a majority of these people OVERSEAS don't think this way?.... As to whether the church will end, in some ways it already has. A devout Roman Catholic from the year 1950 would not recognize the Catholic church of 2015 as Roman Catholic.
There was no "complete disappearance" of the Nestorians at all. Their outreach and much of their numbers and influence were destroyed by the Hindus, and the Muslims, and the Chines. Can you explain the complete disappearance of the Nestorian Church around 1000AD? Prior to that it was the largest branch of Christendom, and stretched from Iran to China, but there are very few adherents of that form of Christianity any more.
